The flat, tabular crystal structure does exactly what it says—the mid-tones in my 4x5 shots have this incredible smoothness I didn't get from my usual film. Loaded a few sheets for a portrait session and the shadow detail held up even when I pushed development a stop.

The T-grain structure really pulls out the midtones in shadow detail, which I noticed immediately on my first sheets. I've been shooting 4x5 for a while and this negative holds up beautifully in flat, overcast light without losing contrast in the highlights.
