V prosinci 2023 uvedla společnost HARMAN na trh svůj vůbec první barevný film Phoenix 200, který byl kompletně vyroben v jejich továrně v Mobberley ve Velké Británii. Jak slíbili, tým HARMAN strávil následující měsíce sbíráním zpětné vazby od komunity a dalším vývojem a optimalizací svého vzorce barevného filmu.


Nyní přichází HARMAN Phoenix II 35mm . Každá vrstva a každá součást byla přepracována a znovu navržena: nová barviva, spojovací činidla a konstrukce vrstev. Výsledkem je znatelně jemnější zrno, lepší podání barev, řízený kontrast, vyšší ostrost a širší dynamický rozsah – to vše dělá z Phoenixu II snadněji exponovatelný i snadněji skenovatelný film.

Shot the whole roll on a grey afternoon and the colors still popped with that warm, slightly retro feel I was hoping for. Grain is noticeable but pleasing, not mushy, and it pushed shadows really nicely at box speed. Loved that it's made in the UK too, gives the whole roll a bit of character.
