I december 2023 lancerede HARMAN deres første farvefilm nogensinde Phoenix 200, fremstillet helt på deres fabrik i Mobberley, UK. Tro mod deres ord har HARMAN-teamet brugt månederne siden på at indsamle feedback fra fællesskabet og videreudvikle og optimere deres farvefilmformel.


Nu rejser HARMAN Phoenix II 35mm sig. Hvert lag og hver komponent er blevet redesignet og rekonstrueret: nye farvestoffer, koblingsstoffer og lagkonstruktion. Resultatet er mærkbart finere korn, bedre farvegengivelse, kontrolleret kontrast, øget skarphed og et bredere dynamisk område – alt sammen hvilket gør Phoenix II nemmere at fotografere med, såvel som nemmere at scanne.

Shot the whole roll on a grey afternoon and the colors still popped with that warm, slightly retro feel I was hoping for. Grain is noticeable but pleasing, not mushy, and it pushed shadows really nicely at box speed. Loved that it's made in the UK too, gives the whole roll a bit of character.
