Das JOBO 2500 Multi Tank System ist ein vielseitiges Verarbeitungssystem, das alles von Rollfilm bis hin zu Planfilm im Großformat verarbeiten kann (mit der speziellen 2509n 4X5-Spule). Die Tanks der 2500er-Serie sind sowohl für Rotations- als auch für Inversionsbewegung geeignet und liefern konsistente Ergebnisse für alle Filmtypen, insbesondere mit den JOBO CPE3- oder CPP3-Prozessoren. 

Der JOBO 2540 MultiTank 1 Entwicklungsdose hält eine JOBO 2502-Spule (nicht enthalten) und kann eine einzelne 35-mm-Filmrolle verarbeiten. Das Mindestvolumen der Lösung für Inversionsbewegung beträgt 700 ml.
