Das JOBO 2500 Multi Tank System ist ein vielseitiges Verarbeitungssystem, das alles von Rollfilm bis hin zu großformatigem Planfilm verarbeiten kann (mit der speziellen 2509n 4X5-Spule). Die Tanks der 2500er-Serie sind sowohl für Rotations- als auch für Inversionsbewegung geeignet und liefern konsistente Ergebnisse für alle Filmtypen, insbesondere mit den JOBO CPE3- oder CPP3-Prozessoren. 

Der JOBO 2550 MultiTank 5 Entwicklertank fasst fünf JOBO 2502-Spulen (nicht enthalten) oder zwei 2509N-Spulen (nicht enthalten). Das minimale Lösungsvolumen für Inversionsbewegung beträgt 1.275 ml und 270 ml für Rotationsbewegung.
