The locking mechanism on this hood snaps into place so cleanly that I’ve cut my scan time in half—no more fiddling with tape or weights. I can finally move through a roll of 35mm without touching the film once.

Finally got my negatives digitized in about half the time I used to spend fighting with messy flatbed scans. The cutouts hold the film perfectly flat, so no more annoying Newton rings or curled edges ruining a frame. Honestly, this thing makes the whole scanning workflow feel almost enjoyable.

The cutouts fit my film holders snugly, so I’m not wrestling with alignment every time I switch frames. It’s cut my scanning time way down, and I can finally just batch through a roll without re-leveling the whole rig.
