Microphen Developer Powder Concentrate - 1L

Finally, a developer that keeps Tri-X sharp even when I push it two stops in dim light. Mixed up a liter in about five minutes with no clumps and the concentrate lasted through several rolls without losing consistency. Grain stays tight and negatives come out beautifully crisp.

I’ve been able to push my HP5 to 800 without losing shadow detail, and the fine grain it keeps is exactly what I wanted for portraits. Mixing the powder took a little patience to fully dissolve, but the 1L batch gave me plenty of working solution for a week of shooting.

It’s rare to find a developer that genuinely boosts speed without turning grain into a mess, but this concentrate did exactly that on my last roll of HP5. The powder dissolved cleanly and the 1L batch stored fine for a few weeks, which is more than I can say for some liquid developers.
