RPX 400 Hochgeschwindigkeits-S/W-Negativfilm, 120

Finally got around to shooting a roll of this RPX 400 and the grain structure on the negatives is beautifully tight for a 400-speed stock. The tonal range holds up nicely in mixed lighting, and it pushed a stop without any ugly contrast spikes. Definitely my new go-to for street work on the 120 form

Loaded this 120 roll into my Mamiya on a cloudy afternoon and the grain structure came out beautifully fine, even when I pushed it a stop. The backing paper is smooth and doesn't leave any static marks, which is more than I can say for some other films I've tried.

Shot at box speed and developed in my usual stand routine, the grain structure is so fine for a 400-speed stock that it honestly surprised me. The tonal range across those midtones is gorgeous for a roll that costs this little. I’ve already loaded a second roll into my old medium format body, and I’
