ILFORD ILFOSOL 3 soveltuu erityisen hyvin keskinopeiden filmien, kuten FP4 PLUS ja DELTA 100 PROFESSIONAL, kehittämiseen.

ILFOSOL 3 on nestemäinen väkiviina mustavalkofilmin kehite. Se on formuloitu hyödyntämään perinteisten mustavalkofilmin emulsioiden täyden potentiaalin, ja se tuottaa hienon rakeen ja optimaalisen terävyyden täydellä filminnopeudella. ILFOSOL 3 laimennetaan tyypillisesti suhteessa 1:9 kertakäyttöön. Suuremman taloudellisuuden saavuttamiseksi sitä voidaan kuitenkin käyttää myös monien filmien kanssa suuremmalla laimennossuhteella 1:14, vain pienellä kuvanlaadun heikennyksellä.
