The tonal range in the shadows is just gorgeous, and that fine grain holds up beautifully when I scan at high resolution. I've shot a few sheets in tricky overcast light and the sharpness in the midtones really surprised me. A box of this is going to be a regular staple in my kit.
Loaded another holder with this and shot in flat midday light; the sharpness on the 4x5 sheets is exactly what I needed for big enlargements. Scans came out clean with that fine grain holding up well, so I’m stocking up again.
The tonal range on these sheets is gorgeous for portraits, and the fine grain just melts away when I scan at high resolution. Shot a full box at box speed and every negative came out clean with no handling issues. These are my go-to for large format now.
