公称感度ISO 400/27°のILFORD XP2は、コントラストや粒状性とシャープネスのバランスを調整するために、露出アンダーまたはオーバーにすることができます。ISO 400で使用すると、微粒子構造と高シャープネスの間で最もニュートラルなバランスが得られます。その広い露出寛容度は、ハイライトとシャドウの値をより細かく制御し、中間調の幅広い範囲を表現するのにも役立ちます。さらに、XP2 Superは、マルチグレードコントラストフィルターを使用した従来の白黒印画紙へのプリントと、RA-4カラーペーパーへのプリント（プリントの色中立性を維持）の両方に対応するよう設計されています。

保管と取り扱い： フィルムの装填と取り出しは、薄暗い光の下で行ってください。未露光のフィルムは、元の密封パッケージのまま、13°C（55°F）以下の冷蔵庫に保管してください。冷蔵していたフィルムに結露が生じないよう、パッケージを開ける前に室温まで戻してください。露光後はできるだけ早く現像してください。現像済みフィルムは強い光から保護し、涼しく乾燥した場所に保管してください。
