The flat tabular crystals seem to grab light so evenly that my mid-tones came out silky smooth without any harsh transitions. I shot a roll at box speed on a cloudy afternoon and the grain structure was surprisingly fine for a 400-speed stock. I've already ordered two more rolls.

The T-grain emulsion really delivers—mid-tones are incredibly smooth and the flat crystals make a visible difference in shadow detail even in dull light. Loaded it for a weekend street session and the negatives scanned clean with barely any grain.

The flat T-grain crystals really pull in the light—my shadow detail came out far richer than I expected on a standard 35mm roll. I’ve shot cheaper films before and this one holds up beautifully in mixed lighting without that washed-out look.
