Met zijn 86 voet brede scherm, 70mm filmmogelijkheid en unieke betonnen geodetische koepel (de enige ter wereld), is de Cinerama Dome een iconisch Hollywood-monument geworden. In 1963 organiseerde de Dome de eerste wereldpremière van een film opgenomen in het 70mm, single strip Cinerama-proces, Stanley Kramer's It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad, World. Sindsdien is de Dome te zien geweest in verschillende Hollywood-films - waaronder Once Upon A Time Hollywood - en heeft het vele filmpremières gehost. De kenmerkende marquee en portico van de Cinerama Dome zijn nog steeds te zien op Sunset Boulevard. 

Hoewel de deuren sinds begin 2020 gesloten zijn, hopen we dat het binnenkort weer opent. Viva la film!
