I desember 2023 lanserte HARMAN sin aller første fargefilm Phoenix 200, laget helt og holdent på fabrikken deres i Mobberley, UK. Som lovet har HARMAN-teamet brukt månedene siden på å samle tilbakemeldinger fra miljøet og videreutvikle og optimalisere fargefilmformelen sin.


Nå HARMAN Phoenix II 35mm stiger. Hvert lag og hver komponent er redesignet og omkonstruert: nye fargestoffer, koblinger og lagkonstruksjon. Resultatet er merkbart finere korn, bedre fargegjengivelse, kontrollert kontrast, økt skarphet og et bredere dynamisk område – alt som gjør Phoenix II enklere å fotografere med, og enklere å skanne.

Shot the whole roll on a grey afternoon and the colors still popped with that warm, slightly retro feel I was hoping for. Grain is noticeable but pleasing, not mushy, and it pushed shadows really nicely at box speed. Loved that it's made in the UK too, gives the whole roll a bit of character.
