4x5 Archival Negative Preserver

My last box of sleeves had that cheap, crinkly plastic feel, but these have a solid, substantial weight that just feels safer for my 4x5s. I've already filed away a full year of negatives and the sleeves lie perfectly flat in my binder, which is exactly what I wanted for long-term storage.

The sleeves are thick enough that I don't worry about creasing my 4x5s when I slide them into the binder, and the clear plastic lets me see each negative without pulling it out. I've been rehousing my old chromes and they finally feel properly protected for the long haul.

Finally, sleeves that don't stick to the emulsion after a few years—the archival polypropylene feels sturdy but lays flat in my binder. I can see the negative edges clearly through the sleeve, which makes filing a lot less fiddly than with the older style.
