The 2.5L size gives you plenty of E-6 for multiple batches, and the mixing process was straightforward with no surprises. First roll of Ektachrome came out with clean, neutral colors—exactly what I was hoping for. Shipping was quick, too.
Mixed a few rolls of Ektachrome over the weekend and the colors came out punchy with clean, neutral whites—the 2.5L batch stayed consistent across all three runs. The chemical mix instructions were clear enough that I didn’t second-guess the timing, which is rare for me.
The 2.5L size is perfect for my home darkroom—I can develop a good batch of rolls without wasting any chemistry. Mixed it up in about 20 minutes and the color came out clean and neutral right from the first run, no off-putting smell either.
