Quality, commitment, and professionalism have made JOBO one of the leading brands in the photographic industry since 1923. JOBO tanks and products have become legendary and JOBO's innovations set the standard for darkroom processing.

Film can only be developed once, so it's fundamental that photographers pick the best option available. The JOBO Alpha B&W Film Developing Kit has been specifically engineered in cooperation with chemist Klaus Wehner to provide excellent results with the constant rotary agitation offered by JOBO processing machines. It can, of course process film using inversion-style agitation as well.

Laboratory tests have proven that JOBO Alpha B&W Film Developer offers full film speed, fine grain, and high sharpness. To ensure a long shelf life, it is supplied in two parts; users mix the concentrates with water to make a single 6L working solution. In other words, it's the best B&W film developer that JOBO has marketed in its 100 years of history.

As a perfect complement to the Alpha B&W Film Developer, JOBO has also introduced the JOBO Alpha Neutral Fixer. Based on natrium thiosulfate, when used in conjunction with the Alpha B&W Film Developer, it allows the entire process to take place in an alkaline to neutral pH environment, the most gentle and environmentally friendly way of processing the organic film emulsion.

I’ve been developing at home for years and this kit’s 6L batch size finally lets me process multiple rolls without constantly mixing fresh chemistry. The tank’s build feels rock-solid, and the lid seals so tight I haven’t had a single leak during inversions. Worth every penny for the consistency alo

The 6L capacity is perfect for someone like me who shoots several rolls in a weekend—I mixed a full batch and didn't have to ration the chemistry at all. The tank's build feels solid and professional, a big step up from the plastic stuff I started with, and the whole process stayed consistent from s

I've run three rolls through this kit already and the 6L volume means I'm not constantly mixing fresh chemicals mid-session. The stabilizer step finally gives me negatives that dry flat without that weird curl I used to fight.
