Rollei 成立於 1920 年，以其頂級的 Rolleiflex 和 Rolleicord 中片幅相機聞名。雖然已不再生產相機，但 MACO 現為 Rollei 品牌產品的授權商，產品線包括一系列黑白底片。Rollei 底片涵蓋從 ISO 25 全色性微粒底片到其他類型，如近紅外線 ISO 400 以及超高銳利度的 Ortho Plus 25 ISO 正色性底片。
Rollei INFRARED 是一款超全色性黑白底片，標稱感光度為 ISO 200-400，並延伸至紅外線範圍（650 – 750nm）。搭配紅外線濾鏡使用時，可呈現經典的「紅外線」效果，非常適合科學應用或極具創意的風景攝影。
若未使用紅外線濾鏡，它則如同一般高感光度黑白底片，具有高解像力、細緻顆粒與高邊緣銳利度。底片塗佈於透明 PET 片基上，因此也適合使用適當藥劑沖洗成幻燈片。
Finally a film that handles infrared without the usual finicky exposure gymnastics. The 35mm roll kept its highlights smooth even when I pushed it two stops, and the grain stayed pleasantly tight. Only wish the box gave more specific development times for different filters.
Shot a roll at box speed on a bright day and the infrared response gave my shadows that dreamy, ethereal glow I’ve been chasing. The 35mm format handled the highlights beautifully without blowing out, even in harsh midday sun. Glad I finally tried this stock.
The grain structure on this 35mm roll is incredibly smooth for a black-and-white infrared stock, and the deep contrast on highlights came out exactly as I hoped. I've shot plenty of similar films, and this one handled long exposures without fogging issues near the edges.
