The exposure latitude is the real selling point here—I accidentally underexposed a whole batch by a stop and the negatives still printed beautifully with plenty of shadow detail. Handles mixed lighting on set way better than I expected, too.
Been shooting 4x5 for years and this is the first color negative stock that feels forgiving when I miss my meter by a stop or two. The shadows stay clean and the highlights don't block up like I'm used to. Shot a whole box in mixed lighting and every frame came back usable.
The exposure latitude genuinely saved a few frames where my meter and I disagreed, and the negatives still scanned cleanly with detail in the shadows. For 4x5 work, that reliability is exactly what I need when I’m not shooting digitally.
