The T-grain emulsion really pulls detail out of shadows—even my metered-for-highlights shots came back with usable negatives. Grain stays tight and sharp through the mid-tones, which is exactly what I need for scanning large prints.
The flat silver halide crystals make a real difference—shadow detail in my last roll came out way cleaner than my usual cheap stock. Loaded it for a street shoot and the tones just pop without much fiddling in post.
