The shadow detail on these 8x10 sheets is gorgeous—even pushed a stop, the highlights stay creamy and the midtones hold that classic Tri-X snap. I shot a whole box under harsh noon light and the wide exposure latitude saved every frame.
The grain structure on this 8x10 sheet is exactly what I hoped for—classic and pronounced, with that signature panchromatic look. I shot a few frames in mixed lighting and the exposure latitude forgave my sloppy metering, which made the whole box feel like a safe bet.
The tonal range on this 8x10 sheet is gorgeous—highlights stay creamy while shadows hold real depth, even when I push it a stop in development. Grain structure is classic TRI-X but surprisingly tight for a 320-speed emulsion across the large format.
